The Ferry Queen Nefertiti from Sharm El Sheikh to Hurghada launched again
The
first trip for the ferry " Queen
Nefertiti " of the Arab Bridge Navigation Company, launched on Saturday,
December 7, 2019, at the shipping line Sharm Al-Sheikh – Hurghada in the
presence of Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir the Minister of Transport, The president
and leaders of the Arab Bridge Navigation Company and the head of the Red Sea
Ports, on a trip took two and a half hours from Sharm El Sheikh to Hurghada.
The
Minister of Transport said that the launching of this navigational line comes
within the framework of the Ministry of Transport's efforts to encourage
tourism programs and the diversify of tourism products from Hurghada to Sharm
El Sheikh, St. Catherine, Dahab and Taba, in addition to trips to the ancient
city of Petra in Jordan.
He also
confirmed the existence of the continuous cooperation between the Arab Bridge
Company and the Red Sea Ports Authority and departments in Sharm El Sheikh and
Hurghada ports, while continuing to take all the necessary measures to
facilitate the procedures and provide a distinguished service on this shipping
line and on board the ferry Queen Nefertiti
which could move 580 passengers, 130 cars and 6 Bus per trip.
Tickets
could be obtained through offices of the Arab Bridge for Navigation in Cairo,
Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, Nuweiba, the channel offices for shipping agencies,
the travel and tourism agents for the Arab Bridge, and the tourism offices
accredited by the Ministry of Tourism which are available throughout the whole
Egypt.
